Backpacks and School Pictures Optional Backpacks The key word this year is flexibility!! After two days of seeing some kids struggle with their belongings and hearing from some parents we have made the district wide decision to allow optional backpacks. Most kids in grades K-3 do not need them since they do not change classes or carry a lot of items. We want to reduce germs and clutter in the rooms so please only send a backpack if your student is struggling carrying things.

First Day Congrats!!! We survived the first day! I just wanted to touch base and say thank you for your patience and flexibility. This is definitely a learning process for everyone and I know tomorrow will go smoother than today and the next day even smoother until everything is flowing perfectly!
