1st Day of School and Summer Reading Challenge

Greetings Parents and Guardians, I can't believe it's here! The 1st day of school! Kids will be so excited and have a hard time falling asleep tonight, but don't worry they will sleep well on Monday night! Hopefully you received and looked over the drop off and dismissal maps I sent out over the past 2 days. Just follow the flow of cars and all will be well! Summer Reading Challenge: If your child participated in the summer reading challenge please send their reading log to school with them Monday. We will have some special prizes for our Summer Readers! Readers are leaders! If you are new to HPA don't worry! We have a lot of reading challenges throughout the year!! A few friendly reminders: School begins at 8am and ends at 3:45 pm Students need to be in uniform everyday, Friday is spirit days and students can wear jeans and an HPA spirit shirt Students need to bring a lunch everyday No outside deliveries Upcoming Events: 08/15--1st day of school 08/15--Summer Reading Challenge due 08/23--Board Meeting @ 6pm Working Together, Jana Godkin Elementary Principal High Point Academy, SFW
