2022-23 School Info
Good afternoon,
Welcome to the wonderful world of HPA and the 2022-23 school year. Monday, August 15th is the first day of school and we are all very excited to have Kinder-5th on the same campus. The new address is 8300 West Freeway White Settlement, TX. The new phone number is 817-600-1735. Our theme for the year will revolve around the Wizard of Oz and how there is no place like home. Students will be encouraged to show brains, heart, and courage this year and our weekly emails will become Words from the Wizard.
Meet the Teacher
Meet the teacher will be on Thursday, August 11th from 5:00-7:00.
A-M will come between 5:00-6:00
N-Z will come between 6:00-7:00
If you cannot come at your assigned time but can come at the other, please do so. We are just trying to spread out for parking purposes.
Please bring school supplies on Thursday!
Uniforms

Uniforms can be purchased at Academic Outfitters: https://fortworth.academicoutfitters.com/
Quick rundown:
Uniform tops are navy or red with a logo patch.
Bottoms are khaki or plaid. There are NO navy bottoms.
Any closed toe closed heel shoes
PE uniforms are not needed in elementary
There is a Facebook Buy, Sale, and Trade page to get used uniforms.

Miscellaneous Info
--School is from 8:00-3:45
--Doors open at 7:30 am each morning.
--Students need to bring a lunch from home each day. We do not have the ability to heat something up so plan accordingly. Ideas include sandwiches, Lunchables, salads, bento boxes full of finger foods, and warm food in a thermos.
--Send a refillable water bottle with your student's name on it.
--Every Friday is a spirit day and students may wear an HPA spirit shirt with the logo on it. PTO and the uniform store sell spirit shirts.
--There is a general Facebook HPA Elementary parent page as well as grade level pages. There is also an official HPA FW Facebook page.
--Put your student's name on EVERYTHING that comes to school.
--The carline will be a bit crazy at first, but we will get it down where it is quick and efficient! (Maps to be sent out later)
--I send an email every Sunday during the school year. Check Spam or Promotions if you don't receive them.Please let me know if you have other questions,
