Benchmarks and other upcoming events
Greetings Parents & Guardians, It's hard to believe that we have been in school for 100 days already this year! Our kinder and 1st Graders looked amazing dressed up like little old people or with their decorated shirts. Monday is the 101st day. I know our littles are planning some fun things. If you aren't sure what your child's class is up to please reach out to their teacher. Next week marks the beginning of Black History Month. With that our 3rd-5th graders will be working on their Living Wax Museum projects. Information has already been sent home with students. If you have any questions please reach out to your child's teachers. Please keep in mind that it is school policy to NOT bring toys to school. Things like basketballs, footballs, jumprope, etc. for outside recess are fine, but please don't allow your child to bring a toy from school. They are sure to get lost or broken and are a huge disruption to the learning environment. Benchmarks are Coming! 3rd-5th Grade has benchmarks this week and next. Survey: If you have not already filled out the survey (in regards to a possible 4 day week next year) that Mrs. Stellar sent out, please click this link and fill it out by February 3rd. INTENT TO RETURN: It's already that time of year. If you have a current student at HPA you should have received an email last week with a link to let us know that your child will be returning next year. The deadline is February 3rd! If you didn't get an email reminder then you can go to your schoolmint account to complete this "Intent to Return". Don't forget we are going to have 6th grade next year!!
