Captain's Log - HPA SFW - 09/04/2022

Greetings Parents and Guardians, I hope everyone is enjoying the Labor Day Weekend! Remember, there is no school tomorrow. We are officially in the swing of things. Be sure to keep in touch with your child's teachers and let them know if you have any questions or concerns about anything pertaining to school. Also be sure to read the weekly Captain's Log from me for important information coming up. September is sure to be a busy month. Our main event will be Open House on September 22. You will get to see your child's classroom, view the curriculum they will be working with this year, and see some of their classwork. You will also get to hear about our Campus Improvement Plan. HPA Leadership Club is ready to start selling their SPIRIT shirts. Information went out last week, but you can also click this link to see the shirt and information. These shirts can be worn on Spirit days, which is every Friday. Please click this link to read about all of the fabulous things PTO has coming up! It's not to late to join PTO! There is a general meeting this Tuesday at 6:30pm, all are welcome! Friendly Reminders: "Walk up" by the district admin building is intended for you to park your car and walk up to the building using the cross walk with your child in the mornings. Please don't just pull up and drop them off. We have seen students getting dropped off and walking across the parking lot which is not safe. Thank you for being cautious and staying off of your phone while driving through the parking lot. Consistent tardies and absences will result in Saturday School. Our parking lot has hardly any traffic from 7:35-7:50. Please try to get your student to school well before 8:00am. Classroom instruction begins at 8:05am, as soon as announcements are over.
