Good Morning High Point Family,
As you may know, we have been working since May, 2019 to solidify a viable option for additional space/land on which to locate our K-6th grade students in White Settlement. As of this date, there is a potential facility that will suit our needs for the start of the upcoming school year. Currently, no official documents have been signed relative to the acquisition of this location.
Here are the most up-to-date facts:
Elem. Campus 003 (Grades K-6th) and MS/HS Campus 001 (Grades 7-12) will no longer fit at the White Settlement campus located at 1256 Jim Wright Fwy.
We have been actively looking for a new facility/location since May, 2019.
It will be necessary to relocate two elementary grade levels (10 classes) in order to facilitate the start of the school year.
Negotiations are currently in process for a location that includes the following: classroom space, auditorium/multi-purpose/performance space, indoor activity space with ample land to place the modular classroom units that are ready and waiting.
This is exciting news for the future of our White Settlement Elementary campus. Please watch for an email in the near future with more specific information and details.
On another note, in the next day or so, you will be receiving an email from your campus Principal discussing the start of school. They will be sharing a link to the Instructional Setting Commitment Form which allows parents to choose their student’s instructional setting for the fall semester (In-Person Learning or Distance Learning). It is vitally important that you complete the form as it contains information necessary for scheduling classes as we start the school year.
