Closure of 8300 February 9-11
In case any K-1 families missed Mrs. Stellar's email this past Thursday:
Good Afternoon High Point Family,
I have exciting news to share with you regarding our 8300 W Freeway campus location. We are making progress! The construction company has confirmed the scheduled move and placement of the modular buildings. This will be accomplished by crane and will occur next week. Unfortunately, this will necessitate closing the 8300 campus for three days (Wednesday, 2/9 thru Friday, 2/11).
Here are the details:
A crane will be moved onsite early Wednesday morning, 2/9.
The crane will remain onsite Wednesday, 2/9 thru Friday, 2/11.
Due to safety concerns, Kindergarten and First Grade classes will not be in session Wednesday, 2/9 thru Friday, 2/11.
During that three day period, there will be no school access to the property, including the parking lot and driveway.
I certainly apologize for the inconvenience this will cause. I was hopeful the construction would not conflict with our school schedule. However, it has become obvious that closure is necessary to ensure safety. I wanted to pass this along as promptly as possible so that you may plan accordingly.
I hope you and your family are staying safe and warm.
Katie P. Stellar
CEO/Superintendent
