Thank You
Thank you to everyone who brought canned goods or dry goods last Tuesday. The 5th Grade Kindness Committee greatly appreciates your support.
Tuesday, May 3rd
Students may dress in Neon/Bright colors for $1. This includes neon/bright shorts, shirts, socks, etc. If students do not want to participate that is fine and they can be in regular uniform.
Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week
This week is teacher/staff appreciation week. We have such amazing teachers and staff that work at HPA. They work so hard and care greatly about your children. Here is a copy of the favorites list in case anyone wants to provide a treat to their teacher this week!
2nd-5th Grade Dance Recital

Fine Art Shows The students and staff did a wonderful job the last few weeks with the different Fine Art shows. It is always fun to see what the kids have learned and how talented they are! Thank you families for supporting the programs and your students.
Field Day K-1 Field Day will be Friday, May 20th from 8:30-12:00 2nd-5th grade Field Day will be Monday, May 23rd from 9:00-2:00 Parents are welcome to come and watch the students those days. **An email was sent Friday with more details and field day shirt purchase details.

Summer Camps There are summer athletic, art, music/Science and dance camps. Please refer to the email sent titled Summer Camps for details and for how to sign up.
A Couple of Reminders
1. For walk ups at 1256, please do not wait in your car and just have your child run across the parking lot to you. We don't want any student hit by a car!
2. Please check any jackets or sweaters your student has at home and if they have someone else's name in them please return them to school. All the HPA ones look alike and sometimes kids accidentally grab the wrong one!
3. Students need to be signed in tardy after 8:05. Please get your student to school on time so they don't miss any learning!
4. Pick up gets finished at both locations around 4:00, please make arrangements to have your student picked up by then.
Yearbook Purchase
This is the last week to purchase elementary (K-5) yearbooks!
Please note:
The price is now $25.
Deadline to order is May 6th

We do not accept cash or check payments.
The yearbook CANNOT be purchased through My School Bucks.
Yearbooks will arrive in May and be distributed the last week of school.
