Greetings Parents & Guardians, It's always so great to see our families at school when we have a Family Engagement night!! I hope everyone had as much fun as I did at our WinterFest! Reading is so important and we want our students to love reading!! If you have questions or concerns about helping your child improve their reading skills please reach out to their homeroom teacher!
INTENT TO RETURN: It's already that time of year. If you have a current student at HPA you should have received an email last week with a link to let us know that your child will be returning next year. The deadline is February 3rd! If you didn't get an email reminder then you can go to your schoolmint account to complete this "Intent to Return". Don't forget we are going to have 6th grade next year!! PTO NEWS: Our fabulous PTO has some super fun fundraising events coming up! Please click on the links to see the yumminess you can be involved in to help support our school! Texas Roadhouse, January 31st, 3-10pm DIY Cookie decorating fun and yumminess! Several options to choose from. Click the link to see the options! VALENTINE'S DAY COOKIES! Cookies come nut and dairy free and can be ordered gluten free for an extra charge. Pre-order ends on 02/03 for cash/check orders and 02/05 at noon for online orders, so don't miss out, these are sure to add some fun around the dinner table for Valentine's Day! Pick-Up (Walkers): We have noticed some of our walkers running across the parking lot out by the district admin building. This is dangerous for our students! Parents, after you give your car tag number to Coach Turner please be sure and wait on your kiddo to come out so that you can walk across the parking lot with your child. Thank you!! Pick-Up for After School Clubs: We would like for our students staying after school for HeroQuest, Theater, Tutoring, and Running Club, to start getting picked up in the back of the building like we do for normal dismissal. When you come in you will head toward the south side of the building and pull around the back. Thank you for your patience as we make sure our kids are dismissed safely. Benchmarks are Coming soon!
