Basketball

For the first time ever we had student section at our basketball games that brought the team energy. We need to continue to bring the energy and grow our student attendance. There are 3 great opportunities this week to come support HPA basketball at home.

Tomorrow 11/14 the both the Blue and Red High school boys teams play at home against the Bible Family Ballers. Games will be held at 5:30 and 7:00PM.

Tuesday 11/15 our high school girls are in action for the first time at home against Heritage Christian. Come see them take the court at 5:30PM.

Friday 11/18 is a special night for our basketball program. We would like to encourage all HPA families to come see all three of our high school teams play. A student involved with our student section, Karli Cox, came up with the fantastic idea to do a holiday food drive at our games. On Friday night please come out and support our Hoops 4 Hunger game. Whoever brings a non perishable food item does not have to pay admission to the games. All donations will be going to the Fort Worth Community Food Bank. Come out to support your Eagles and a good cause simultaneously.

This week's student of the month is Coral Casillas. Congratulations to her on all her accomplishments in her Freshman year at HPA. There is an article written about her in this newsletter, along with 6 articles highlighting our teachers. The students have worked extra hard making this our best edition yet. Please stay tuned for our next Newsletter as we will be doing a special volume on our Cross Country and Volleyball teams for their victories in the playoffs, while also highlighting the players and runners who made that happen. Recruiting For HPA

Dear HPA Parents,

We are trying to get an early jump on recruiting for next school year, In order to do this we will be giving daytime tours to prospective parents and students starting on Thursday 10/27/2022. Tours will involve a walking tour of our facility with a question and answer session at the end.

Come and hear about:

  • Dual Enrollment with Texas Wesleyan

  • Fine Arts Programs

  • Career and Technical Programs

  • Competitive Athletics

  • College Prep Academics

  • Small School Environment

We believe that you are our best recruiters. Therefore, if you know families that would be positive additions to our school family, we would ask that you encourage them to come see the school and hear about all we have to offer.

If you know families that would be interested, please have them sign up for a tour and come see for themselves what a great opportunity HPA has to offer.
