This will be the last Open Net before the break. Please make sure you are in attendance and ready to work out. Also, make sure you are talking with your coaches so you can be working out over the break that way you will be ready for tryouts and the season. Track Practice will officially start Tuesday, January 3rd. Please make sure you are running over the break so that you are ready for your season. ALL athletes will need a physical before they can run. Email Coach Penland if you have any questions or your athlete is interested in running track.

There will be a soccer tryout on Wednesday, Dec, 14th. This will be open to all girls in MS and HS wanting to try out for soccer, If you don't have a phone and cannot preregister please talk with Coach Sifuentes or Coach Corvera. If you cannot find them then just come to my room D215. Once again All athletes will need a physical before they can play.

Basketball is in full swing and all teams have been competitive and winning games early in the season. We have had more students at games this season than ever before and we would like even more. There are plenty of chances to come and support them this week with most of our games at HPA!

Retake photos for the yearbook
Retake photos for the yearbook will be done on December 8th. Red or blue polos must be worn for yearbook photos. We will also be taking fall sports and club photos that day.
Winter Formal
Dear High Point Students and Families,
On January 14th, the Sophomore Class officers will be throwing a Mardi Gras Masked Ball at the 8300 West Freeway campus. The dance will be from 7 to 10 pm. From 7 to 8 pm, we will serve food, and the remainder of the time will be used for dancing. Tickets are $25 and are available to be
purchased in the mornings before school, at the door, and on MySchoolBucks. Not pre-buying tickets and purchasing them at the door leaves the risk of not being served food. The selling of tickets will start the
week before winter break. Students are highly encouraged to wear a Mardi Gras-themed mask. Halloween masks will not be allowed. When you walk up to the door, please remove your mask for identification.
