MS/HS Literary Character Day for a REAM OF PAPER Monday 10/31/2022
This is YOUR moment to dress up as your favorite character
HPA MS/HS will be hosting a Literary Character Day next Monday, October 31st FOR a REAM OF PAPER
Here are the rules:
Students may choose a character to dress up as from any book they choose. Fiction, non-fiction, comic, etc. are all acceptable.
Students MUST bring a ream of paper (500+ sheets) on the dress-up day, October 31st. Students will be checked upon entrance to the building.
Student costumes MUST follow dress code rules -- the length of skirts, tights or leggings under holey jeans, 3 finger-width straps on shirts, no exposure of midriffs, no inappropriate slogans or words on clothing, and closed-toe and back shoes
Failure to comply will result in loss of dress-up privileges and Saturday School
Middle School Lock In
Due to schedule conflicts with other middle school activities and events, the middle school Lock In has been postponed to a later date. We will get back to you once another date has been chosen. Thank You
The Scholastic Book Fair
Dear Parents and Families:
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way. Our HPA book fair, will take place from November 14th to November 18th, 2022 in Building A-Family Room. Due to after school activities, all scholastic book fair sales will only occur during lunch/advisory times. The Family Room is not very large. To prevent overcrowding, this is our sales schedule:
• Monday, November 14 sales are open high school. Middle School will PREVIEW. • Tuesday, November 15 sales are open to 6th grade.
• Wednesday, November 16 sales are open to 7th grade.
• Thursday, November 17 sales are open to 8th grade.
Friday, November 18th sales are once again open to EVERYONE, including high schoolers.
