School Holiday Monday and Winterfest

Greetings Parents & Guardians, We hope all of our families enjoy the 3 day holiday weekend to celebrate the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day honors the famous American civil rights leader who dedicated his life to achieving equality for people of all colors. MLK Day matters because it recognizes Dr. King's legacy of service while inspiring us to serve in our own ways. One of HPAs core values is "service". I want to encourage you and your family to get out and serve someone or somehow this weekend! You can post a picture or tell us about it on our Facebook Page @ High Point Academy South FW! Even though we don't get to experience winter like the rest of the country we still want to bring some winter cheer to our students and families! Don't miss WinterFest this Friday night! There will be story time, lot's of crafts, a photo booth, hot chocolate and cookies, and lot's of winter fun. We hope to see you Friday night. This is a come and go event from 5:30-7:30. If you bring a student GUEST then your child will receive a FREE DRESS PASS. We want our community to see all the great things about our campus and join the High Point Family! Running club got off to a great start last Thursday! If you are interested in joining please reach out to Mrs. Ballard at Kristi.ballard@hpafortworth.com You don't have to participate in the Cowtown to join Running Club, but if you do want to join us at this super fun race at the end of February please be sure to check out the links below: The discount code to register your student through our link is: HIGHPOINT_ACCESS Here is the link to enter your student in the Cowtown CALF with our team: https://raceroster.com/events/2023/62502/the-cowtown-2023-school-team-registration/register?access_code=HIGHPOINT_ACCESS Here is the link to enter as a parent/responsible adult or staff to run with our team: https://raceroster.com/events/2023/62502/the-cowtown-2023-school-team-registration Dress Code: This is a friendly reminder that we have patches for sale for $8 that can be ironed on red or navy polo type shirts.
