Week 1 and drop-off/dismissal procedures

Greetings Parents and Guardians,

What a wonderful Week 1 we have had! The students have been mastering classroom procedures and routines. We are seeing healthy lunches and beautiful uniforms. It's wonderful to hear our hallways full of laughter, little feet, and excitement, both from our students and staff!

Thank you so much for helping us keep our students as safe as possible by following our drop-off and dismissal procedures. I'm sure you noticed that there was an accident this morning during drop-off. Thankfully everyone is ok. This is just a reminder to please slow down and be cautious. It is safer to enter the parking lot heading North so that you can turn right into the parking lot and also exit by turning right. That way you don't have to cross any traffic. We have signs posted "No Left Turn" for certain times of the day. We realize this is inconvenient for some of you, but Crowley Road is extremely busy both in the mornings and afternoons and we want all of our families to be as safe as possible. The best time to drop off is between 7:30-7:45.

We ask that you please follow the flow of traffic while in our parking lot. Please don't pass cars or get out and move cones.

In addition, for the sake of safety please be aware that we do not have any adults outside until 7:30 am. Some students have been dropped off and are waiting by themselves in front of our doors before 7:30 am.

Everyone has done a fabulous job with our new system for dismissal! It is so convenient to walk down the row of cars and see the orange car tags hanging from the rearview mirrors. Keep up the great work parents and guardians!!
