Week of August 15
Tomorrow is the day! The first day of the 2022-23 school year. Teachers and staff are both ready and excited to welcome your children in the morning. Patience and flexibility are keys to a successful day!
Just a few instructions for the carline:
K-1 Students and older kids who ride with them
You will enter from Western Hills Blvd and proceed in 4 straight lines. We will first move cars to the front of the building from the far right lane (closest to the fence) We will move 10 cars at a time this year. You will stop in front of the main building to unload or load students and at the end of the building TURN RIGHT to exit onto the Service Road. We have adults who will walk the 2nd-5th grade students to or from the mods.
2nd-5th grade students only
You will enter from Western Hills Blvd and immediately turn LEFT. This line snakes around eventually pulling up in front of the mods. There is green rope and arrows to help guide traffic. Go slow and pay attention or you will not be able to make the curves. In front of the mods, you will load or unload students and then proceed straight to exit onto Western Hills Blvd.
Feel free to come by and practice before Monday. Gates will be open until 5:00 tonight.

Reminders:
1. We will start allowing students in the building at 7:30 am
2. Make sure students have a packed lunch!
3. Please send a refillable water bottle to school with your student.
4. Students should be in uniform: navy or red polo with crest and khaki or plaid bottoms. We know the uniform store is running behind on some orders so if you don't have the right shirt please wear a plain navy or red polo.
5. Label lunchboxes, backpacks, water bottles, jackets, etc.
6. Fridays are spirit days and an HPA t-shirt can be worn on that day.
7. The school day ends at 3:45, but dismissal will take longer than normal.
8. No cell phones or smoking in the carline.
