Week of December 7Good afternoon,

I hope this email finds you all healthy and doing well. I am ready to be back in person on Thursday. I am very hopeful that the majority of the staff will be back and we will be able to finish the semester in person.Instructional Setting Form The form to change your student’s instructional setting for the 4th grading period is now available. The decision is for January 5-February 12.You only need to fill out this form if your student is changing instructional settings. Please complete the form to change instructional settings by December 11.Face Coverings K-6 Please remember that ALL students must have a face covering each day and they are to wear it all day. A mask or shield is acceptable, but no gaiters, bandanas or scarfs.Angel Tree We have until December 11th to purchase gifts for Angel Tree so if you would like to donate to Angel Tree please use this link or contact send the gifts Thursday or Friday. If your student is out the gift may be dropped off anytime during the day before 4:00. Place the gift in a gift back and put the code on it. (example: 3A)Symptom Screener and Sick Students Please screen your student every morning before sending them to school. If they have ANY of the following symptoms please keep them home and they can distance learn.Symptoms:  Fever of 100.4 or higher Chills Cough Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing Fatigue Muscle or body aches Headache New loss of taste or smell Sore throat Congestion or runny nose Nausea or vomiting Diarrhea

We will be doing periodic temperature checks and asking about symptoms throughout the school day. If a student is sent home with any of the COVID-19 symptoms the student will have to remain home for at least 14 days, symptoms must be gone and there is no fever without giving fever reducing medication OR a doctor’s note with an alternative diagnosis.

If you or someone in your family is waiting COVID test results please keep your student home until you know the results.

Also, please notify Nurse Chasiti at if your student has a positive test result or someone that has had close contact with your student is positive.Upcoming Events: Monday-Wednesday December 7-9:–Distance Learning for everyone Thursday December 10–Return to School Friday December 11–Spirit Day Friday December 11–last day to drop off Angel Tree items Friday December 18–Last day of the Grading Period and early dismissal at 12:00Have a good day, Heather Houpt Principal
