WHAT'S COOKING at HPA SFW - 05/24/2022

Parents of HPA Hawks, STAAR testing has been completed! We are so proud of your students and how hard they worked. Although the preliminary STAAR scores have been given to our Campus, we have only been given the Pass/Fail results from the Texas Education Agency. TEA provides these results to schools as soon as possible so that we may plan appropriately for summer camp and remediation. This allows us to offer Summer Camps, as House Bill 4545 requires students to complete 30 hours of accelerated instruction for each STAAR test they did not pass. If your child did not meet standard you will be notified either by email or a phone call with information about Accelerated Instruction and HB 4545 requirements. Parents: You will be able to check your students' individual STAAR scores through the Texas Education Agency's Parent Portal beginning June 24, 2022. An email will be sent to parents with instructions on how to access the Parent Portal when the scores are available at the end of June. Please let me know if you have any questions, but be aware that I will not be responding to parents asking for scores before the aforementioned dates.
