What's Cooking at HPA SFW (Please Read!) 5/1/22
Good Afternoon,
I hope you all were able to get out and see ANNIE this weekend! All of the cast and crew did an amazing job on our school musical drama! We are so blessed to have Mrs. G as our amazing theater teacher. I also want to give a shout-out to Mr. O'Con, Mrs. Ankersen, Ms. Ferrucci, Ms. Ross, and Ms. Monday for all of their help with Annie. These teachers spent many days after school hours practicing with the students. Mr. Scalf did a fabulous job with the set! And of course, parents thank you as well for making sure your kiddos were at the practices!
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week:
It's my most favorite week of the year!! The week we show our Teachers and Staff just how much we appreciate them! Our PTO has planned some fun and awesome days! You don't know how much a simple card or letter from our students would mean to their teachers! And don't forget our fabulous Dance and PE teachers as well as all of our Fine Arts teachers. We truly do have the best staff. Each and everyone of them puts in very long hours each day and pours into every student! I hope you will take the time to let them know how amazing they are!

Congratulations to our Leadership Club on becoming the Texas Elementary Finalist for their Need Energy Project! Several of our students will be traveling to Washington D.C. in June to be recognized! Thanks Mrs. Vierkant and Mr. McBeth on all of your hard work with our Leadership Club this year!!
This will be the last week of after school tutoring! STAAR begins the following week with 5th grade Science.
